A snake enters my mind,
slides through my veins, and sits in my heart.
Red is diffused with green,
poison flows through my artries.
I can’t find my body’s server,
he is my weaver, he is my tailor.
All my actions are still voluntary,
because i allow him to reign freely.
I am his mistress, and he is my king,
his thoughts are mind, and i have neatly tethered wings.
They say you adjust in this game,
but i changed myself with pain.
He isolates me from functionality,
and i turn blue with cruelty.
Interesting poem. I like espacially the intertwined state of the snake and the lyrical self. It evokes a wide variety of associations. Great! 🙂
