Wish Them Well

Wish them well, as they pursue
Fumbling pathways here below
You can of many moments tell
In past — like them — you didn’t know

How to reach for, nourish,
Or encourage harmony —
It’s only a reflection
Of your former self you see

Insists on being recognized
For what it really is —
A contrast and an indicator
To your present bliss

Remember all your seeking,
Recall the convoluted search
Which brought you safe at last
To your serene galactic perch

And let your native pity,
For balancing of karma, flow —
Bless them, bless them, bless them
Bless them and let them go
