Like dandelions
Before the breeze,
Ignorant the coming change.
Gently nodding,
Reaching for
The last ray’s
Of April warmth —
I marvel at
Their careless dance
As life turns a page,
Picks them up
And carries them
Away.
Like dandelions
Before the breeze,
Ignorant the coming change.
Gently nodding,
Reaching for
The last ray’s
Of April warmth —
I marvel at
Their careless dance
As life turns a page,
Picks them up
And carries them
Away.

You brought out both the emotions of merriment and parting away beautifully in this small poem…
Thank you!
