I Beg Your Pardon,
by J. W. Cassandra

I beg your pardon –
a beggar at your soul-door,
in my hand with a doorless-knob:
„Please, forgive me with eternal
forgiveness!”, I beseech
speechless
and hope,
you hear my
wordless words,
and all that are
in the gaps, beyond…
„I am only an imperfect soul,
as it’s visible: with my heart throb,
with my soul I beg your pardon
and if you feel my deepest eager
wish
for being more clear, please,
settle with your gentle Spring breathe
my suffering soul:
give your forgiveness me!
As the greatest treasure, I will bring
it with me on my pathways
and I will show up it in the end –
I beg your pardon –
a beggar at your soul-door
in my hand with a doorless knob:
I beg it with my soul, my heart throb…”
