Honour the Trees!, by J. W. Cassandra

Honour the trees that give you your breath,
Love them, don’t hurt – honour the trees!
Don’t cut them, don’t carve, just crave:
They give your cradle and coffin to grave…
So, guard the trees: they give your breath,
Love them, don’t hurt – honour the trees!

    1. And they give us, human beings the mystery simply by their existence. I remember, in my childhood there were nearby us sky-high trees with dark green leaves that bended together above us and kept a green-golden tent of leaves with whisperings. Strips of sunrays gave the mysterious gold… Their magic spelled me then, and I could much later, read about secrets of alchemy… Trees are the best alchemy of our lives. 😊 I love them.
