Moriar-ne Omnis? [1],
by J. W. Cassandra

Exegi… non omnis moriar… [2]
If I have created an eternal memory
And this memory will never die,
Then what will remain behind for you?

If everything dies one day,
So what is the eternal that remains?
If it does remain still; perennius [3],
Then where will be that is a past?

And if all die, if all perish,
If nothing is eternal that exists,
If everything what exists transforms,
Then what is that will remain?

Where to hide, what to become: omnis,
To preserve what is important?
Where to hide: exegi if then the
Monument falls: moriar-ne omnis…?

And it seems so: omnis moriar;
Aere perennius [4] is only the moment.
