Branch of golden-petaled hope,
Flower of golden-spotted mystery –
Be full of splendour, world of shadows!
In the wind there whirling golden petals,
In blazing fire of golden-spotted flush
Sprinkle light, Spring, to the endless night!
Fall, golden petal, down to the depths,
Paint it with tender hope golden,
What the night had nursed black!
