I am scattered in time and space,
I am your secret light and feared shade.
I am talented, gifted, cursed and blessed –
You are the promise of my eternal land,

The land that exists in nowhere, fancy,
The sky that’s spinning without mercy –
And I abide everywhere, nowhere, beyond time;
In you my nightmare is embodied, your shy

Wish to seek me and at last, to find:
I am your homeland through time.
You are the promise for me once to turn –

You are the only one for whom I return.
