I See You Ever by My Heart,
by J. W. Cassandra
I see you ever only by my heart,
I guard you ever only by my soul.
If my being is lost on crooked lanes,
I bring you on my back, I guard you by light,
I guard you by the night, star-mounted,
I guard you by speechless, secret knowledge,
I guard you as the promise of miracle,
I hear your word: the ever-echoing life…
I hear your word, its silence, playing music,
I carry your being from eternal to eternity –
The nothing-burden burdens only my shoulders,
Since what I has been kept seeking, I found, yes!
Maybe, I would be your life-guest at last –
Maybe, you would be my life-guest, at last…
I see you ever only by my heart,
I guard you ever only by my soul…
