I have been wandering through my life
And I almost can greet my ending night…
I have been so far kept seeking for you,
Though I couldn’t have the faintest idea of you…
I have known only that we know each other
Though we had not met yet – still harbour
Will be you for me when you will find –
Still harbour will be me for you, same kind…
And I was waiting through the heavy years,
And I held only the hope: you will come at last…
But I could not imagine the flash when you find –
And you could not pretend me, waiting you so far…
Now, we met at last: alas! it is the real miracle!
Now we’re close to each other though we are far…
And I ask you with my words, with soul, heart:
Stay with me even, when you are far away, far!..
Stay with me close, embrace me with endless bliss!
I’ll stay with you in that bliss forever, I promise…
