Of the thoughts of souls

And the voice of the minds

Maybe I could have a better understanding

Of the tales of the corpse

And the experience of the aftermath 

Maybe I could have listening ears

Only if I’d known 

Of the voices in your head

And the whispers from your heart

Maybe I could have known you were lying when you told me you love me
