As the rode past over the bridge
that lay over the mighty river swelling with water,
he had only one feeling in mind – to give up all,
to stop the onward journey and
plunge deep into the depths of the river
in a bid to end the tough times of life
that lay ahead of him and had been his constant companion –
but this feeling died its own death in the river
when the image of his parents flashed across his mind.
