Do colours divide us?

Someone said,

Red is women’s colour

But I have seen the blood flowing in every human

‘Every man’ as red

 

Someone said,

Saffron is Hindus colour

But I have heard it represents courage

Are only Hindus courageous?

 

Someone said,

White is worn when someone dies

But I have heard it represents peace

I have seen brides wearing white walking down the aisle

Is this the reason that we lack in peace of mind?

 

Someone said,

Colours divide us

But I have seen rainbows

Whose beauty is only due to intimacy of colours

 

Colours don’t divide us

The myth in our heart does

So let’s remove that from our heart

And unite to form a peaceful nation

Just like saffron , white and green unite

To represent a country of patriots, India
