They tell we women we’re the origin
Of every sin committed here on Earth
(We don’t know what universe they live in
That’s just a testimony to our worth!)

Let’s see — if we remember it aright
The Biblical reality infer
It wasn’t Eve from whom sin spread its blight —
Its originator predated her

In form a giant wily serpent of
Who preyed on aggravated innocence —
Forbidden good and evil knowledge of
How could she have prepared any defence?

Nor can we come to understand what way
Feminine evil o’er virtue prevail,
For we have ne’er heard anyone to say
That snake was anything other than male!
