Distracted and Destructive

Where our thoughts go we will follow —
What our minds aremade to swallow
They’ll again regurgitate
In a world which we create

What it is we choose to see
Will select what we will Be:
Agape in the golden Name
Or some antagonistic game

Violent, as many are,
Glorifying endless war? —
Perchance a better world we’ll win
While sunk another sitcom in

Celebrating an attack
One friend behind another’s back
Nor really ever wonder why
Characters feel they have to lie?

Concentrate we on release
Of humanity to peace
Or munching through, again, alone,
Yet another Game of Throne

In which betrayal’s seen to be
An acceptability
Natural in family
To distracted and destructive we?
