Let’s Not Even Try It

What if someone says something
To which I can’t manage the
Specific’ly required cliche
To make them think coolness of me?

What if I’m uncomfortable? —
Let’s go to the same old place
Where I can long history
With understanding friends retrace

So what if, at the end of life,
My experiences be few?
I avoided the discomfort
Of trying something new!
