Have you made the ant people
Go to another place?
You are a developer.

Have you ever told a child
To sit down and be quiet?
You are a policeman.

Ever condemn anyone
Without asking them about it first?
You’re a judge, and not a good one.

Man of the People:
Do you know where and how
Your blue jeans were made?

Do you purchase and consume
Supermarket poultry?
You are a cager of chickens.

Do you live in a house
Made of wood?
You are a logger.

Time to stop pointing
Accusatory fingers at others
And forgive them.

And ourselves

Peace
Was
The goal.

Remember?
