(This poet’s favorite reader comment of all time: “You give voice to the voiceless.”)

I ask Light Spirit: “What is going on?
Why am I under pressure from all sides?
What lesson are these stresses based upon?
What understanding future peace decides?”

They tell me: “These are power lessons in
That you may not in future make mistake
Nearly anon, power you must begin
To know, to exercise, to undertake

You have learned much from your powerlessness
And on behalf of such have much to say
So doing, with coherent voice to bless
Those who, unnoticed, faded had away

For whom you clearly speak, you clearly see
Have now a place in new worlds brought to Be”
