When love comes in, the world begins to glow
With new kinds of remembered happiness
We look back on our lives, suddenly know
How many times and ways love that life blessed

Quiet instructors, unassuming friends,
Talkative strangers, by whom we have heard
Encouragement unto our chosen ends,
Appreciative glance, enabling word

All gifts of love which, most, we overlook
Realities of love we have denied
How much love, we see now, our growing took
All freely given by those at our side

We ready are to freely give as well
To strengthen and encourage, show and tell
