When you choose to lie to me
Few and dim my options be —
Focus energy upon
Calling you the carpet on,
Or act as if I didn’t know
Giving you permission so
Continue further in such wise
As generates more and more lies?
The first only obnoxious be,
Impacting negatively
The second makes me look (and be)
Gullible stupidity
So let me know for future nonce —
