Trapped by demon

Expression

So coarse for words

     To express

Unhindered by the sorrow

      I bear

While always alone. 

I tear at my flesh

     With tears

And torment my soul

      In memories

Hearing the demon tear

      At its chains

While still alone.

Uncertain of timing

     For demise

But certain of the need

     To die

My worth fails to please

     Anyone

While I remain alone.

I cannot change the

      Unconquered

Not in my might or my

       Strength

I fear the road ahead of

       Us

Unconquerable just the same.
