I am a lion devouring the Sun…
I am the Sun casting the Lion down…
And when my dream ends, I can’t remember:
Am I a lion devouring the Sun,
Or am I the Sun casting the Lion down?
Maybe, I am neither the Lion nor the Sun,
Maybe, my dream is hidden: dream of dreams apart…
Apart from Sun, apart from Lion –
Symbols are signs for a dream, to find it, try on!
Maybe, I am neither a dream, nor the real,
I am hidden behind the Lion and behind the Sun:
My existence points behind all that are dual –
Symbol of the only mastery in all that are dual.
I am the Lion and equally, I am the Sun…
The secret of secrets is hidden in me for you:
If you cast light on it, it will be herald of Truth…
