Light-drop of Fairy Dance,
by J. W. Cassandra

If the Being sees a vision by eye of Time,
He is ever-dreaming and ever-vigilant:
Light-drop of steps of fairy dance,
Purple-petalled mizzle of dream-honey,

Butterfly, flitting on purple petals,
Wave of fairy’s finger, fairy song, laughing
That charm by sweet magic the dreamer,
That lie you eternal and steal yearn into heart.

The dance instills in yearn inkling: all are finite;
Its sorrow in a vision is but bitter-sweet,
The song forecasts, the dreamer is never vigil,
And light-stream swings him with steps of fairy…

The light is ever changing, ever enchanting,
Into it, the ever-vigilant keeps merging,
And if he believes: this is the only entity,
He remains as captive of its spell, a dreamer.

Fairy’s dance is resplendent light-spume,
Butterfly-dance is time-rippled play of hue,
Fire of purple petals is nectar of dream-honey,
And the Dreamer beholds a dream of Eternal.

He will be vigilant again then, in a dream-life,
From this flash fairy’s steps spell him vigilant,
He pours their law in their dance, into dream,
He ripens it in purple petals, into life-dream,

And who comes by the eye of Time, is fairy dance,
Butterfly and petal-charm: his life-enchantment
The sky-sea swings into law, through its whirl
Arrives by eye of Time, human: forgetting

His perfection, he’s tempted by fairy dance, yearn,
Magic; he swings in charm, till dance melts him eternal.
Then the Being is ever-dreaming anew and ever-vigilant:
He sees a dream and knows: he sees all by eye of Time.
