They Spring from the Same Source
~ by J. W. Cassandra
If the world swings on star-song,
The star-song bursts on your mouth.
If the world wriggles on the crucify,
The agony ripping it emanates from you.
Though the blessing arises from your mouth,
You don’t hear blessing of your song,
Though your foolishness puts it to crucify,
You don’t endure the world’s worry.
You don’t endure its joy, nor torture
So, you cannot guard its pathway.
Its pathway that leads on to the infinite –
Your hand holds the star-scourge of judgement.
Your hand holds the scourge with foolish heart.
Never flip, with the scourge, never rattle!
It will enough to flip gently with it,
It will bring here not curse but, blessing.
Curse, blessing spring from the same source,
If you open your mouth to a word, it stops
If, it is a curse-bringer to our existence –
And it flows chattering as a brooklet,
A lake harbours in its depth, and pours
On us flow of plentitude: the blessing you told.
So the world swings on star-song,
Tune of that bursts on Thy mouth.
Whether it gives curse or blessing: Thou art responsible!

Egy tőről fakad
~ Hungarian Version
Ha a világ ringatózik csillagdalon,
A csillagdal kél a te ajkadon.
Ha a világ rángatózik a kínpadon,
A kín, mi tépi, belőled árad ott.
Bár az áldás ajkadról fölfakad,
Nem hallod áldását dalodnak,
Bár botorságod kínpadra vonja,
Nem éled át, mi a világ gondja.
Nem éled örömét, sem kínját,
Így nem tudod őrizni útját.
Útját, mi végtelenbe vezet tova –
Kezedben az ítélet csillagostora.
Kezedben ostor, szíved az ostoba,
Ne suhints, ne csördíts vele soha!
Elég, ha lágyan legyintesz vele,
S átok helyett áldást hoz ide.
Átok vagy áldás: egy tőről fakad,
Ha szóra nyitod ajkad, fönnakad
A szó, ha létünkre átokhozó –
S árad cseregve, mint csermely; tó
Fogadja mélyébe, s ontja ránk
Bőség áramát: áldást mondtál.
A világ ringatózik csillagdalon,
Melynek dallama kél a Te ajkadon.
Felelős vagy érte: átkot vagy áldást oszt!
