We came from Orient,
And we march on Occident:
We turned from pristine South,
We came from water of North,

We came from merry Orient,
Singing in a vivid voice.
Our voice died away from South –
We turn to Occident!

We came from Orient,
We turned from the wind;
Our arrival is: northern star,
We are marching on Occident.

We came from pristine Orient,
We descended from heaven –
Our arrival is falling stars:
We are marching on Occident…

We came from Orient –
We were called to rule;
Beggar-staff is saleable –
We are marching on Occident…
