A concept lacking within our community
Because of the abundance of the superficialities
Obsessed with defining the essence of our being
Trying to suppress this anger here brewing
Too preoccupied by the gender
Expectations for a quick surrender
Judging my orientation
While you use violence instead of conversation
Shaming the ethnicity while stealing the culture
Oblivious to the truth but never to the color
Too blinded by the blackness of my complexion
To ever take a look within your own reflexion
Scared of diversity and undesired change
So you observe quietly, you enable my pain
Unaware of my capabilities
So you diminish my credibility
Tolerance is the minimum requirement of our society
so true.. people these days have just become so intolerant.
