The Petunias

The Petunias is a poem about the flowers that can survive the worst of climates but not winters. Everyone has a breaking point. But the speaker hopes they survive.

Soul of my soul | A poem by JW Cassandra at UpDivine

Soul of My Soul

The poem belongs to my volume XVIII, “Incompletion”, cycle I, “Soul of My Soul”. This is its 4th poem, the pair-poem of the previous one and, in a certain sense the reverse of the 2 previous ones. I share this poem with the other ones, belonging closely to this one, for we all being mortal, everybody has painful loss and feels to miss the beloved ones. I am, as well, so I’d like to commemorate my beloved persons and that of everybody on earth. “Lelkemnek lelke” is the Hungarian version of the same poem.
