J. W. Cassandra: A Zengő Szó maga

Echoing Word Itself, by J. W. Cassandra. I placed my poem to my volume 18, “Incompletion”, cycle “I See the Unseen”. It is a vision and a poem at the same time, the subject is the Word and the entire strophe 2 refers back to this subject, manifesting in strophe 1. I share here the Hungarian version, as well.

The Brook | A Poem by Alfred Lord Tennyson

This stream joins the river, its final destiny. And The Brooks (as personified by Alfred Lord Tennyson) mocks the humans as ordinary mortals who get consumed by time.

Sir Tennyson’s love for nature is evident from the fact that how beautifully he adds sensuality in the description of a river.

#updivine #updivineyourvibes

The Westernesse of Eire

Listening to the sound of the whistle I hear a haunting melody that’s so familiar. Over and over again he plays his tune in the freezing indigo gloaming. He has nothing to offer but his tune He’s seen the best days and now this is now, Yet he stands and he breathes into his whistle, the life blood of his country soul repeating the line in ever changing cycles Each phrase perfected each time a little more, a squeak here a cran there the tone gets purer, a little money reassures the will,………a faith of sorts He finds his stillness in the tone repeating the line as I flanneur away to the dwindling sound of his Triumph

#updivine #updivineyourvibes
