J. W. Cassandra: A fenyőfa

The Pine Tree, by J. W. Cassandra: my short novel tells of a shapely little pine tree who admired the Christmas trees… He goes under a long journey till understands real rules of life… And whose memories are the treasure. I wrote this little story just now, today and made its translation into English. I will share its Hungarian version, as well. The photo for illustration is mine. (J. W. Cassandra: A fenyőfa: novellám egy formás kis fenyőről szól, aki csodálta a karácsonyfákat… Hosszú utat jár be, míg megérti az élet szabályait… És akinek emlékei a kincsek. Épp most írtam ezt a kis történetet, ma, és lefordítottam angolra. Megosztom magyarul is. Az illusztrációhoz a fénykép az enyém.)

J. W. Cassandra: Füves Anyóka történetei, A vérehulló fecskefű, 2. rész

Medicine Granny’s Stories, by J. W. Cassandra. Here I share the first story of the short novel. Better to say, this is a smashed genre: the story includes in itself is intertwined in it with a tale. Its title is: The Swallow Wort. I divided it into 2 parts for sharing here since it is a bit long. If you read it, you’ll meet a Medicine Granny and her granddaughter, Starcluster. Granny grows her granddaughter and teaches her unnoticed for values of life and for knowledge of herbs. Reading it, a charming, magical world opens, one can be lost in it. After sharing the part 1, at once I’ll share the Part 2, in Hungarian. The illustration is by TootSweetCarol, from Pixabay. I hope, you’ll like my story. Later I can share more of it, though the story will be continued yet.

J. W. Cassandra: Istenek stratégiája, Nostradamus – A máguskapu, részlet

Gods’ Strategy,by J. W. Cassandra, a novel, Magic Gate chapter – a detail. The story brings us to 2098, when 3 teenage girls, friends try to travel in time, successfully. They are the main characters, by their name Amber, Iris, Chrystel. They use a mirror, wax candles, etc. for travelling in time and nobody knows of them where and what epoch or era she will get to. This detail tells about Amber, the red haired girl’s travel to Nostradamus, the oracle’s era. What is more, this is her second trip to it now. And of course, her aim now is exactly Nostradamus’s house, just the mirror is whimsical… Details of getting ready for the trip by the mirror here I didn’t write, I just refer to it briefly. The story will be continued yet. I share the story both in English and in Hungarian. Illustration is my own photo, the minor tree is the Magic Gate on it. As I saw it in my imagination.

J. W. Cassandra: A Csigák földje /Groteszk, részlet/

J. W. Cassandra: A Csigák földje, novella, groteszk, részlet. Képzeletbeli földet ábrázol a történet, ahol a csigák bűnhődnek azokért a bűnökért, amiket korábban a múltban elkövettek emberként. Osztályokat, illetőleg fajtákat alkottam számukra, és a “házas csiga”, a “tömbházas csiga”, a “kastélyos csiga” kifejezés az épületre utal, amit a hátukon cipelnek. Minden épület az emberire hasonlít. A történetet az “Ismeretlen ösvény” című novelláskötetembe illesztettem. Ugyanide más történeteket, groteszket, filozófiai értekezéseket is raktam, amelyek nem illenek bele a másik 2 kötetbe, “A Létforgatag maszkabáljá”-ba és a “Merész álmok”-ba. Kérlek, olvasd el a weboldalamon a teljes novellát: www.jwcassandra.simplesite.com Remélem, érdekesnek találod a történetet! Illusztráció: joergip31 vagy Jörg Prieser, Pixabay. A történet részletét mind magyarul, mind angolul megosztom.

Land of Snails, by J. W. Cassandra /Grotesque, detail/

Land of Snails, by J. W. Cassandra, a short story, a grotesque. I share here a detail of the story. It tells of a fancy land where the snails spend their punishment as snails, for the crimes and sins they had committed as human beings in the remote past. I made classes or kinds for them, and the expressions “housed snail”, “blocked snail” and “castled snail” refer to the kind of building they carry on their backs. All the buildings resemble that of humans. The story itself is placed into my short story volume titled “Unknown Path”. I placed into it all those stories, grotesque, philosophical essays that I could not place into the other 2 volumes, “Masquerade of Life” and “Valiant Dreams”. Please, visit my website for reading the whole story: www.jwcassandra.simplesite.com I hope, you will find my story interesting. Illustration for the story is by joergip31 or Jörg Prieser, Pixabay. I share here the detail of the short story both in English and Hungarian.

J. W. Cassandra: Az Aranykor vége

The End of the Golden Age, by J. W. Cassandra, by J. W. Cassandra, detail. I share a detail of my second legend that came to life and that live in my world of fantasy. The story as a Golden Age means only a fantasy, it has nothing to do with that of ancient legends. This age lives only in my imagination. As I mentioned at my first dragon legend, I have a volume containing legends and tales woven around the Four Rivers’ Dragon, living in my imagination. That legend is the first of them and is the keynote at the same time. The today story is the 2nd one, it is just as important as a keynote as the first one. The story is continued in my website by the following headlines: „Struggle against the Evil”. It was written in 2004, translated in 2021. Here you can see the Hungarian version. Illustration to my story is by p2227754, Pixabay. You can read my entire legend in this link (copy to your browser, please): www.jwcassandra.simplesite.com/ I share the first part of the legend both in English and Hungarian. I hope, you will read the entire work, as well. Please, leave a comment and like it on my website. Thank you.

The Grey Door

he curiosity turned into a panic for Morgan. He walked too far ahead and nothing was visible, only, he hoped, if it ended. Hence, it would be better to walk ahead further as he hoped so; maybe, it might have dispersed. “Ugh! Fuck!” Morgan moaned in pain when he fell down, by the time, had stumbled on something. “Ah! What next!” He screeched very loudly as he faced a horrible skull; nonetheless, stood up very quickly. Now, he found himself on a wooden panel which is very narrow. The bottom was full of human skeletons; so, I was walking briskly to get rid of it. “Where the hell am I?” he exclaimed harshly. By the way, the intense fog was still continuing mercilessly. His eyes, on the other hand, were watered and unable to see anything. “Ha?” he reacted when the visibility was available again. “Where’s here so?” he asked himself. Another world or dimension or somewhere else… While he was beholding them, he suddenly saw his name on one of the gravestones!

The Chase

Tom walked rapidly and silently to hide behind the front door, while the commissar was on the way to the backyard.   Their pistols are loaded with bullets. Tom opened the door very slightly to look inside very silently. He had an itchy trigger finger. However, when the damned door creaked very terribly, he hid back behind the door very rapidly again. It was creaking without any stoppage because of the shake of the unprecedented wind.  “Where am I?” the man groaned in pain giddily. He was due to vomit out for a sudden. Nausea had invaded his stomach who suffered from hunger for many days. He couldn’t feel his hands and feet, maybe because of a short temporary paralysis. As his eyes were opened, a blindly darkness made him inhale uneasily.
